Pre – installed apps include the standard Google suite, as well as some proprietary Realme tools, including the File Manager and Phone Manager.

Out of the box, the likes of Motorola and Nokia have better software but at the end of the day, you can easily install a different launcher if you like.

The device is loaded with Realme’s proprietary apps including DocVault meant for Indian users to manage personal information and government documents and Soloop, a smart tool for editing short videos.

#fingerprint    #sensor    #rest    #button    #mounted

Othe features of the handset include LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.1 storage, side – mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and multi – functional NFC.

Instead of the usual under display fingerprint sensor that we see on most phones being released, the power button doubles as a capacitive fingerprint reader – and this is quite accurate and fast.

Turning to another aspect of the design, the realme 6s integrates the fingerprint reader on the unlock button as the rest of the new realme 6 range does.

Moving on to another aspect of the design, the realme 6s integrates the fingerprint reader in the unlock button like the rest of the new realme 6 range does.

Realme 6S Features Part 2

#rate    #flagship    #Pro    #refresh    #option

Realme 6 Pro is among the very few smartphones in the price segment that offers a higher screen refresh rate option.

High refresh rate displays have been exclusive to high – end smartphones up until this point, so it’s great to see the flagship tech trickle down to budget – friendly options.

It’s been doing well in the entry premium flagship space, and with the flagship features backing it, Realme X2 Pro is a winner under 30000.

The 90Hz refresh rate is the star of the Realme 6 range – the tech was exclusive to flagship smartphones in 2019, so to see it on such a budget – friendly option is surprising, and helps provide the premium experience on offer from the 6 Pro.

#Pro    #features    #series

The former Oppo sub – brand has announced the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro, both of which feature 90Hz screens, 64MP quad – camera systems, and 30W fast charging.

The company’s latest offering includes the Realme 6 Pro — part of the Realme 6 series– which comes with some first – in – class features like 20x digital zoom.

The images on the teaser website also confirm that the Realme 6 series phones will have hole – punch displays, with the Pro model featuring two selfie cameras.

Armed with a 64 MP quad camera, 30W fast charging and a super responsive 90 Hz screen, the realme phones are priced starting Rs 12,999 for the realme 6 series and Rs 16,999 for the realme 6 Pro series, both of which have been launched in India first.

#sensor    #display    #fingerprint    #AMOLED    #screen

The device runs on the Snapdragon 710 chip featuring a 6.53-inch full – screen AMOLED display with an in – display fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the display.

Realme X2 features an AMOLED screen, quad camera system, 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor, in – display fingerprint sensor and a big 4,000mAh battery.

There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Realme 6S as well, along with a magnetic field sensor ( compass ), gyroscope sensor, proximity sensor and accelerometer sensor.

Realme X new price starts at Rs 17,999 post GST hike on mobiles, and it comes with a full – screen AMOLED display, pop – up sensor, in – display fingerprint sensor, 48MP camera and more.

It’s a top mid – range device with an AMOLED display, in – display fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 712, quad camera and fast charging with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage.

#refresh    #rate    #display    #resolution    #panel

You also get a significantly superior display going from 720 x 1600 pixels at 60Hz refresh rate on the 6i to 1080 x 2400 pixels 90Hz refresh rate on the 6.

The Realme 6 pro comes with the a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with 90Hz refresh rate while Poco X2 comes with 6.7-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate.

Moving on to the display, we get a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 or equal to 399ppi.

While the Redmi Note 9S has your usual 60Hz refresh rate, the Realme 6 takes it to the next level with a 90Hz panel.

While the display is a touch smaller than the Pro model they have the same spec, using an IPS panel running at 1080 x 2400 with a 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sensing.

#storage    #RAM    #Rs    #comes

Similarly, realme 6 Pro variants come in 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage at Rs 16,999, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage at Rs 17,999, and an 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option at Rs 18,999.

There are three storage variants of the realme 6 – -4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage at Rs 12,999, a 6 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage at Rs 14,999, and an 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage at Rs 15,999.

#smartphone    #India    #phones    #market

Chennai : Chinese smartphone maker Realme on Thursday launched the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro phones in an online streaming event.

New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk : Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme on Thursday launched its latest device Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro.

Realme C3 is the successor to the much – popular Realme C2, one of the most sold smartphones of 2019 in India.

Realme on Thursday launched its new mid – range smartphone – the Realme 6 Pro in India as part of the new series which also includes the Realme 6.

Besides the X3 SuperZoom, Realme also introduces a new smartphone called Realme 6s, which is a watered – down version of the Realme 6 that launched in India back in April.

#charging    #battery    #charger    #mAh    #VOOC

Realme claims that the 4,300 mAh battery can be charged from zero to 50 percent in 20 minutes using the 30W VOOC 3.0 fast charger.

The whole system is backed by a sizable 4,000mAh battery with VOOC Charging v3.0 20W fast charging support ( ships with the 20W adapter ).

Realme 6 Pro supports Bluetooth, WiFi, Dolby Atmos sound, proximity sensor, and USB – Type C port, 4300 mAh battery, 30W VOOC fast charging capacity.

The realme 6’s massive 4300 mAh battery charges to 40 % in just about 15 minutes and 100 % in less than 60 minutes.

On the inside, there is also a 4,300 mAh battery that may possibly be charged in one hour with the 30W charger in the box.

#gaming    #performance    #touted

This processor is touted for being one that’s optimised for gaming and will supposedly give you great performance even in demanding games.

Our benchmark scores show similar results to the standard Realme 6, which is touted as more of a gaming phone — so if you decide to go for this Pro model, it can game as well.

In real – world use, the Realme 6 Pro works well; general use is smooth, further aided by the 90Hz display, and despite the lack of high – end hardware, it can handle games like PUBG Mobile with the highest graphics settings enabled.

The Mediatek Helio G90 t typically offers over a 30 % performance gain over the G80, and almost double in some gaming benchmarks.

#UI    #Android    #skin

The most noticeable difference will probably be in the OS, where Realme uses their realme UI skin on top of Android 10 while Xiaomi sticks to MIUI.

Software – wise, Realme 6 Pro runs on Realme UI, which is based on Android 10 and heavily inspired ( more like a carbon copy ) from Color OS 7.

It’s got more RAM, a much bigger battery, an Android skin that I prefer over the realme UI, plus a lower price tag.

Just like the Pro model, this uses the new Realme UI v1.0 whereas the older phones use ColorOS which you will also find on Oppo phones.

Software is usually a pain point when it comes to Chinese manufacturers, and while the Realme 6 Pro does feature Realme UI ( based on Android 10 ), it’s one of the cleaner interfaces I ‘ve seen.

#Helio    #T

Helio G90 T Processor Powered by the Helio G90 T processor, super – fast RAM, and powerful AI, the realme 6 truly takes your gaming experience to the next level.

The Realme 5 had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 which is a competent but very mid – range chipset; the Realme 6 has the Mediatek Helio G90T.

The Realme 6 comes packing a MediaTek Helio G90 T, which you may remember on last year’s Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Realme 6 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display running on the MediaTek gaming – centric processor, the Helio G90 T SoC.

While Realme 6 buyers will get a pair of Realme Buds 2 as a gift, Realme 2 Pro buyers will receive a Rs1,000 discount coupon for the Realme Buds Wireless earphones.

#colour    #Mode    #Blue    #level

The successor to the last year launched Realme 5 Pro, the Realme 6 comes in two colour options a Comet White and Comet Blue.

Pro offers a couple of screen colour modes in the display settings, and we opted to stick to the default ‘Vivid’ mode that offers more vibrant colours as compared to the ‘Gentle’ mode.

Colours are largely bright and vivid with decent level of detail both in well – lit and low – light environments, although the levels of noise rise as the level of light dims.

The new process used to make the Realme 6 increases the colour brightness and saturation by 60 percent and 50 percent respectively.

There are a handful of camera modes such as Super Nightscape 2.0, Chroma Boost, portrait mode, or super slo – mo video recording at 120fps.

#phone    #battery    #day    #smartphone

For day to day use it is perfetly acceptable, and it is amazing to see how far phones have come in the past few years.

Both phones can comfortably get to the end of the day with moderate to heavy use, I charge every night, so getting over days worth of use is not a huge concern for me.

For the battery, the Realme 6 Pro packs a 4,300mAh capacity, which is great considering that you will be using this phone for taking lots of photos and gaming.

In any case, I ‘d personally prefer a longer lasting battery than a faster charging smartphone because I almost always charge my smartphones overnight, so speed is less of a concern for me.

#lens    #sensor    #angle

The rear houses a quad – camera setup with 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra – wide – angle lens, 2MP portrait lens, and 2MP depth sensor.

Camera features include a 64MP quad camera setup along with an 8MP ultra – wide angle lens, a 12MP telephoto lens and a macro lens.

On the rear end, the smartphone offers a quad – camera setup with 64MP main sensor, telephoto lens, 8MP ultra – wide – angle lens, 2MP macro lens.

Comion to the cameras, the Realme 6 sports a 64MP primary sensor, along with 8MP ultra – wide angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens.

The rear four camera setup features a 64MP GW1 sensor, an 8-megapixel 119-degree ultra wide – angle camera, 2-megapixel macro lens and 2-megapixel depth 4 cm sensor.

Realme 6S Review

#camera    #storage    #RAM

Realme 6 : Camera Performance Just like its predecessor, the Realme 6 is one of the best camera smartphones under Rs. 15,000.

The RealMe 6 & RealMe 6 Pro feature 90Hz displays, dual – front – facing cameras, and quad-64MP cameras on the rear.

The Realme 6 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720 G ( 8 nm ) CPU processor with 128 GB, 8 GB RAM.

The Realme 6 has four rear cameras a 64-megapixel Samsung main sensor, an 8-megapixel wide – angle camera, a 2-megapixel mono camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Even before Realme launched its latest series, it insisted that the Realme 6 will be a successor to the Realme 5 Pro and not the Realme 5.

#fingerprint    #scanner    #unlock    #mounted    #sensor

Both phones arrive with a side – mounted fingerprint sensor scanner, which the company said that it can unlock the phone in 0.29 seconds.

The side – mounted fingerprint scanner on the Realme 6 is quick to unlock the smartphone and we had no issues with it.

Some people don’t like side – mounted fingerprint sensors but in my view, it is the best position to place the scanner.

Through the integration of the fingerprint sensor and the power button, you can unlock the realme 6 in just about 0.29 seconds.

As another first, Realme has opted for a side – mounted fingerprint scanner which is positioned on the right side of the device.

It is so convenient to unlock the phone with a rear – mounted scanner that we wonder why is this technology still underrated.

#storage    #RAM    #Rs    #price

Realme offers three variants : 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of storage priced at Rs. 12,999; 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage for Rs. 14,999; and 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage for Rs. 15,999.

The model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will sell at Rs 14,999 and the 8 GB RAM model with 128 GB storage at Rs 15,999.

It is available in three variants – 4 GB with 64 GB of storage which is priced at Rs. 12,999; 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of Rs. 14,999; and 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage for Rs. 15,999.

The Realme 6 4GB/64 GB storage starts at INR 12,999 ( $ 177 ), 6GB/128 GB storage at INR 14,999 ( $ 204 ) and 8GB/128 GB goes for INR 15,999 ( $ 218 ).

#headphone    #USB    #features    #Dual

There is Dual Music Share on the Realme UI that essentially allows audio output via a wired headphone and a wireless one.

Realme Dual – Mode Audio, which allows you to connect a Bluetooth and a wired headset to listed to music on the smartphone, is available but the feature is listed under Realme Lab.

The new smartphone also has GPS, dual – band Wi – Fi b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB 2.0 Type – C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

There is a USB – C port on the bottom, flanked by a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a speaker grille.

Such new features are : Animated Wallpapers, Dual Earphone Connection, Smart Sidebar, Private Information Protection, Screen – off Display and Dark Mode.

rprint    #scanner    #mounted    #button

Absence of an AMOLED panel has led to Realme 6 Pro featuring a side – mounted fingerprint scanner on the power button.

There’s also the very welcome headphone jack, on the bottom, with volume buttons on the left and power button /fingerprint scanner on the right.

Elsewhere, you’ll find a USB – C port alongside the coveted 3.5 mm headphone jack and a fingerprint scanner built into the side – mounted power button.

The Xiaomi then has a notch, and a rear – mounted fingerprint scanner, functionally these make no difference, but aesthetically the Realme looks a bit nicer because of it.

As for as the security of the device is concerned, you will find that the 6 by Realme is packed with a rear – mounted fingerprint reader.
